We can act. And we will act.
We are dedicated to protecting the homeless Chicagoans who are endangered by the funding changes being made by the Federal Government.
These funding changes, delays and contract cancellations put at risk many of the organizations that our unhoused neighbors depend on to survive. This includes food, shelter, community and other basic needs.

Chicago Stories, Music, Poetry and History focusing on change, growth and resilience.

May 7th 7:00 to 9:00
Beneficiaries: Matthew House.
Tickets: $30 to $40
Long Term Goal:
Create a shared infrastructure of resources and fundraising that offsets the impact of federal cuts to organizations, like shelters, meals and community that are absolutely essential to homeless.
Strategies:
- Host a series of coordinated fundraising events, that focuses 100% of the proceeds to organizations in immediate need.
- Develop a process by which private citizens can seamlessly donate their own funds on a recurring basis and know that their money will go directly to serve the housing and food needs of their struggling neighbors.
- Foster a larger network of committed and connected people to continue to advance this work.
- Generate publicity about this effort and encourage others to pile on with positive efforts that reinforce and preserve the wellbeing and care of those in our community who must rely on these providers.
